Remember the time when there was a country called East Germany? And do you remember the all-powerful East German athletes in their Zeha shoes? Ahh, those were the days.
East Germany may forever be a thing of the past but Zeha is poised to spring a comeback. Zeha shoes are now being made in Italy but its makers are keeping its iconic trademark double stripes. Says Torstein Heine, a Zeha partner, in an interview:
“We really tried hard to keep the product pretty authentic. We tried to make them look like the old shoes but give them the technical details and comfort of shoes nowadays.
Now that is Zeha back in circulation, do you think it will end up becoming a world-famous brand like its West German cousins Adidas and Puma?
